❓ Before you trade

Can I buy USDT from Claude or ChatGPT? Yes: here is how it works

The agent finds the offer and opens the trade. You approve the step that commits money, by link and 2FA. The crypto lands in your iEscrow balance. The fiat payment is still yours to make.

Claude and ChatGPT cannot hold a wallet for you, and they should not. What they can do, connected to iEscrow through the Model Context Protocol, is the part of a P2P purchase that is tedious: find an offer that matches your amount, method and country, open the trade, watch its state and tell you what to do next. The part that moves money stays with you, on purpose.

Step by step

  1. 1You connect your agent to iEscrow from your own account (iescrow.io/ai). Connecting requires a verified account with two-factor authentication; the agent gets a limited set of permissions you choose.
  2. 2You tell the agent what you want: "buy 200 USDT, pay by bank transfer in my country". It calls get_quote and finds offers.
  3. 3The agent opens the trade. The seller’s USDT is locked in escrow before you see any payment details.
  4. 4You pay the seller by the agreed method, yourself, from your bank. The agent cannot do this and cannot see your bank. It can give you the upload link for your receipt.
  5. 5The seller confirms the payment and the USDT is released to your iEscrow balance. The agent can wait for that update and tell you. From your balance you can withdraw to any wallet; withdrawals are never available to the agent.

What the agent can and cannot do

Can
Quote, open trades, read the state of your trades, wait for updates, give you the link to upload a receipt, list your trades, cancel a trade that nobody has accepted yet.
Only with your approval
Lock crypto in escrow (when you are the seller) and confirm that a payment was received. Both create a request you approve by link with your second factor. The approval shows the amount from the trade record, not from the chat.
Never
Withdraw, change bank accounts or wallets, touch anything outside a trade, or act without your account.
Can an agent make a PIX or a bank transfer for you? No, and not on iEscrow either: the fiat leg is between you and your bank. What the agent removes is the searching, the waiting and the "what do I do now".
