❓ Before you trade

Does my AI agent need its own KYC, or does it act under my account?

It acts under yours. There are no agent accounts: the agent is a tool connected to a verified person, and that person is responsible for what it does, within the permissions they granted.

An agent is not a user. It has no identity of its own to verify, no wallet of its own, and no account. On iEscrow it connects to your account, with a verified identity and two-factor authentication required on your side before any agent can be attached. Everything it does is done as you, within the permissions you granted when you connected it, and you are the counterparty in every trade it opens.

What that means in practice

Identity
Yours. The other side of a trade sees you, with whatever verification your account has. There is no "agent" badge, because there is no agent party.
Permissions
Chosen by you at connect time, from a limited list: quote, open trades, read trades, wait for updates, upload links, and request approvals. Nothing on that list withdraws or changes accounts.
Money
Never moved by the agent. Locking crypto in escrow and confirming a received payment are requests the agent creates and you approve by link with your second factor; the approval reads the amount from the trade, not from the agent.
Responsibility
Yours, for what you approved. An agent cannot commit you to anything you did not approve, which is also why it cannot be blamed for anything you did.
Revocation
From your account, any time. The agent loses access; your trades, balance and history stay exactly as they are.

Why it is designed this way

If agents had their own accounts, every protection in the system would have to answer a new question: who is this agent, who runs it, and who pays when it is wrong? Keeping the agent under a verified person's account means those questions already have answers. The person is known, the person approved the money step, and the person can be reached if there is a dispute.

A good question for any platform offering "agent accounts": if the agent is wrong, who do I talk to? If the answer is not a person, the account is a liability, not a feature.
