Staking costs and considerations

Staking and unstaking are on-chain operations: gas is charged in ETH from your balance, without touching your $ESCROW.

Every time you stake or unstake, an on-chain transaction runs, which has a network cost (gas).

What gas is charged in
ETH from your iEscrow balance
On your $ESCROW
Nothing is deducted; you receive 100% of your principal + rewards
Requirement
Have some ETH in your balance to cover gas
Before you confirm, the platform shows you the estimated cost in ETH and its USD equivalent, so you know exactly how much you'll pay.
If you don't have any ETH in your balance, you won't be able to stake or unstake: deposit a bit of ETH first to cover gas.
