❓ Before you trade

iEscrow fees: what you pay and when

A platform fee, a percentage of the trade, quoted before either side commits and deducted at release. The network fee when you withdraw. Nothing else, and nothing you ever have to send.

There are two costs, and both are shown before you commit to anything. There is no third one, and there is never a payment you have to make to receive your own funds.

The platform fee

  • A percentage of the trade. For P2P trades it is split between the two parties; for Business Escrow it is a percentage by tier, with an extra for a dedicated arbiter if the room chooses one.
  • Quoted in full before either side accepts, in the trade itself.
  • Deducted from the escrow at release. Nobody sends it anywhere.
  • The exact rates are in Fees, and they are the same for everyone.

The network fee

  • When you withdraw crypto from your iEscrow balance to an external wallet, the blockchain charges a network fee. It depends on the network you choose, not on us.
  • It is shown before you confirm the withdrawal and taken from the amount you withdraw.
  • Moving crypto inside the platform (funding a trade from your balance, receiving a release) has no network fee: nothing goes on-chain until you withdraw.

What is never a fee

  • A "release fee", "insurance", "tax clearance", "account upgrade" or "verification deposit" to get your money. These do not exist on iEscrow. Anyone asking for one in our name is a scammer (Does a real escrow ever ask you to pay a fee to release your money?).
  • Opening a dispute. It is free; the arbiter decides on the evidence.
  • Registering, verifying your identity, or connecting an AI agent.
Before accepting any trade, the fee line is on the screen. If a trade ever shows a cost you did not see before accepting, do not accept it and tell us through Official channels.
